Registration & Check-In
Welcome attendees, manage check-in at registration desks, distribute badges and materials, and assist with onboarding.
Session Support
Assist with sessions, manage Q&A, provide technical support, and ensure smooth transitions between speakers and panels.
Networking & Hospitality
Facilitate connections between attendees, help at networking lounges, manage refreshment stations, and ensure hospitality excellence.
Logistics & Operations
Support setup and breakdown, manage event spaces, coordinate signage, and handle general operational tasks.

Assist with live streaming, photography, social media updates, and content documentation throughout the event.

Do I need prior event experience?
No prior experience is necessary! We welcome enthusiastic volunteers from all backgrounds. Training will be provided.
How many hours will I volunteer?
Volunteers typically work 5-8 hours per day depending on their role. We provide breaks and meals throughout the day.
When is the application deadline?
Applications are open until June 30, 2026. We recommend applying early to secure your preferred role.
Do I need accommodation?
We recommend booking accommodation in Addis Ababa. Contact us for volunteer housing recommendations.

Can I volunteer remotely?
Most volunteer roles require on-site presence. However, we have some remote opportunities for content and media support. Ask in your application!
